# Red Wine & Blue

> Red Wine & Blue is a national community of diverse women working together to defeat extremism, one friend at a time. Founded in 2019 by Katie Paris, RWB trains and connects women across the country — of all political backgrounds, including the 54% who are current or former independents or Republicans — to organize their communities, have honest conversations, and get sh*t done. RWB operates as a 501(c)(4); its sister organization RWB Civics (rwbcivics.org) is a 501(c)(3).
