Book Ban Busters
Extremist politicians and outside groups are attacking our kids’ education. In fact, they’ve become SO extreme that they’ve resorted to book banning. They’ve even tried to ban books about Martin Luther King, Jr., Anne Frank and Rosa Parks.
Well, suburban women aren’t having it. This is not the 1950s. Every kid should be equipped for the 21st century, and that means learning real history (not fairy tales) and respecting people across our differences. It means ensuring every kid feels safe to learn and gets a well-rounded education at school.
The More You Roe
Roe v. Wade was a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case that established our right to abortion in 1973. But on June 24, 2022, they overturned that ruling, taking away our constitutional right to abortion.
The impact on healthcare, the economy, and women’s everyday lives has been devastating. Many of us couldn’t imagine this reality two years ago, but we see now that extremist politicians are trying to make it even worse by taking aim at IVF and birth control. No matter where you live, your reproductive freedom is at stake this election.
Save IVF and Birth Control
The shocking headlines out of D.C., Virginia, and Alabama make it clear – extremists at the state and federal level aren’t stopping with abortion bans.
They’re trying to take away IVF and birth control too. No matter where you live, if you have extremists in your state government, your rights are at risk right now. If Republicans gain control of the federal government, ALL of our rights are at risk. So we’re taking action. We’re telling every politician who threatens our rights to IVF and birth control that we’re not falling for their lies, and we will vote them out.
Momonomics
The economy is top of mind for women in every suburb in America. Moms are trying their best to do it all and we’re tired of issues being framed as an ‘either/or.’ We simultaneously care about all of the issues affecting our families – the economy, our reproductive freedom, our schools – and we know all these issues are connected.
What we need are facts. From record corporate profits to tax cuts for the wealthy to extremists holding our economy hostage, we need to name how we got here and how we can use our voices for change.
