In early 2024, we brought attention to Project 2025. Most Americans hadn’t heard of it yet, and Donald Trump said he had nothing to do with it. Our Project 2025 Toolkit was downloaded more than 50,000 times, and as people learned more, they overwhelmingly rejected it.
After he was inaugurated, Trump put many of Project 2025’s authors in top-level positions in his administration and started implementing the plan on day one of his second term. We spent the first year of his term tracking their actions. More than 60% of their goals we were tracking got implemented in just that one year.
