They Did WHAT?!

Lately, it seems like extremists are everywhere. Denying the 2020 election. Banning abortion. Glorifying January 6th. And running for office at every level of government to gain and maintain control. But we have the power to stop them.

We know it can be head-spinning to try and keep up with their BS, so we’ve created this guide to help you. We all must vote in November to stop these extremists and their harmful agenda.

Here’s who denies the legitimacy of the 2020 Presidential election.

A recent study found that 60% of Americans will have an election denier on their ballot in November. These are Republican candidates for a wide range of offices who will not accept the legitimacy of the 2020 Presidential election. We compiled some of those names here. The rest can be found at the project’s website. Nationwide, our elections processes have been proven to be safe, secure, legitimate, and fair. We must support candidates who trust and respect our democratic processes.

Here’s who is co-sponsoring a 15-week national abortion ban.

In September, U.S. Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham made national news when he introduced a 15-week abortion ban in the U.S. Senate. A companion bill was introduced in the U.S. Congress by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), and co-sponsored by 100 other Republicans. We must vote out these members who are jeopardizing our reproductive freedom.

Here’s who is co-sponsoring an even more extreme National Abortion Ban.

This bill was introduced in the U.S. Congress last year. It is an extremely restrictive abortion ban bill that would criminalize the actions of abortion providers. Many of the co-sponsors of this nationwide abortion ban attempt also celebrated the fact that the fall of Roe v. Wade sent abortion rights decisions to the States. So, which is it, do they want abortion rights decided at the state level or federal? They can’t have it both ways and we are onto them – they want it whichever way they can pass the most restrictive ban on us and our bodies. We must elect candidates who respect our rights to make our own healthcare decisions and will protect our abortion rights.

Here’s candidates who were in D.C. on Jan. 6 that are now running for office.

Dozens of candidates running for office in this election cycle have been linked to events in D.C. on January 6, 2021.  They funded and supported attendees, and some participated at the rallies, speeches, and riot themselves. The riot was a violent attempt to stop the democratic process of certifying Joe Biden’s electoral win. It led to five deaths and approximately 140 injuries among law enforcement officers. We must elect candidates who respect our democratic processes and the rule of law, not violent extremists who will do anything to gain and maintain power.

Here’s WHO IS CO-SPONSORING A NATIONAL “DON’T SAY GAY” BILL.

We know that horrible policies like Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill lead to bullying, depression, and increased rates of suicide in our kids. But that didn’t stop these Republicans from co-sponsoring this bill that would prohibit any federal funds from being used for “sexually-oriented” events. (What that means is events like Drag Queen Story Hours, which are harmless and have nothing to do with sex.) They are specifically targeting the LGBTQ+ community. We can’t let harmful legislation like this pass. We must vote out the representatives who support it.

Extremist candidates all over the country are scrubbing their campaign websites because they know their agenda is deeply unpopular. We won’t let them hide!
