Our series on Reproductive Justice was designed to introduce the framework as a tool to help us conceive what is possible when rebuilding our systems for the liberation of everyone in our society.

We introduced the Reproductive Justice framework as a vehicle to transition from a narrow focus on “rights” to an approach designed to improve conditions for everyone by focusing on those most harmed.

In Part Two, we take a deeper dive to embrace Reproductive Justice as a simple, yet revolutionary, human rights framework that uses intersectionality to reveal and dismantle systemic barriers and protect our most vulnerable communities.

Through our expert panel, we’ll learn how we can actively reshape public health policies to improve conditions for everyone and help build the world we deserve.

Data Centers are changing Ohio’s landscape and reshaping our communities in big cities like Columbus and small towns like Clarington. Today, there are 200 and counting data centers in Ohio – the fifth highest among all the states.

In exchange for generous handouts from statehouse politicians, big tech corporations made big promises for Ohio. Now, they’re driving up our electric bills, draining our fresh water, and cutting secret deals with local governments.

Ohioans can come together and ensure we get to have a say over what happens in our communities. Join us to hear from policy experts, local officials and directly impacted residents. We’ll discuss the reasons behind Ohio’s data center boom, the implications for daily lives, and how we can ensure all Ohioans share in any benefits.

July 29, 2026 Beyond Dobbs, Toward Reproductive Justice

Many of us can remember the fear and anger that we felt when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ruling that the US Constitution does not provide a right to an abortion, giving states the power to make that determination. Ohioans organized, took the issue to the ballot box, and enshrined reproductive rights into our state Constitution.

Yet, around the nation and in our state, reproductive freedom remains illusive for many. Health centers are closing and our representatives continue to promote legislation that threatens our lives and our rights.

Join us for this important conversation with experts and advocates to discuss where Roe fell short and how we secure reproductive justice for ourselves and the generations that follow.
